Hart Praire and the Flagstaff Arboretum

A few pics from our Saturdays Bird Banding with Anne. Then it was off to Flagstaff for the weekend packed with fun!

Always a joy to visit The Hart Prairie Preserve up north! It was nice to see Anne and Neil again as well as Pat Graham and the wonderful others that work for the Nature Conservancy. We are lucky to be part of such a great group of people!

Then it was off to the Flagstaff Arboretum where Sydney was blessed with an enriching private behind the scenes fun with raptors.

Ramsey Canyon May 23 2010 ...

Well looks like I will start our adventures with one of our latest trips. Oh so many trips to share... I feel blessed with all the places we have gone... this last trip was fun as well... We always enjoy visiting Ramsey Canyon! Here are some of the pics from our adventure using a tent trailer for an over-nighter at Kartchner Caverns. Then the next day it was off to Ramsey Canyon for a Gorgeous Nature Matters Day filled with educational guided tours and great talks! Thanks to all involved for enriching our family to such a great program.

The Nature Conservancy

Over the last 5 years we have been so lucky to be involved with such a great group of people involved in great projects... All starting at the Hassayampa River Preserve... I like to call it my "happy place." Never really a bad moment there. Not only is it a beautiful oasis... but Bernadine, Marty, and all the volunteers have always been so kind and welcoming to me and my children. I can literally say my kids have grown up/ are growing up there - they couldn't have better mentors :)
